Why Buy An Argyle Cashmere Sweater

If you think wearing an argyle cashmere sweater is old fashioned, think again! The sweater has made a comeback and has become the new must-have clothing for the new generation. The old set have always worn them with quiet dignity but today’s high school and college kids flaunt their argyle cashmere sweaters.

Part of the reason is texture. There has always been something cozy and sensual about sweaters, and more so with argyle cashmere sweaters. Run your fingers lightly over the sweater and you can almost feel the static electricity trapped in its fibers. Put the sweater around your body and you can sense the energy surround you, make your body come alive.

The other reason is color. The older generation wore their cashmere sweaters in sedate, conservative hues. Maybe that’s why they didn’t seem so attractive to the eyes back then, and you could only think of them as cold-weather wear. But today’s argyle cashmere sweaters come in beguiling shades of color. The bold displays of color radiate with the energy and exuberance of youth, in bursts of purple, yellow and green.

Well-known fashion labels have not failed to notice this trend. They have developed separate offerings of argyle cashmere sweaters for men and women. By adding their reputation for quality material and distinctive designs, these fashion houses have given their stamp of approval and fanned the fires of this sweater craze. Now people know that these sweaters are really the thing to wear.

You can wear it the old fashioned way, loose and lumpy. But that wouldn’t look too good, would it? You wouldn’t want to go around looking like your grandmother. You can wear it the right way, put some body into it. Young people like you wear it the sexy way, showing off a little skin around the waistline every now and then. You can pair your argyle cashmere sweater with short denim skirts. It goes well with formal slacks or with more informal fitting pants.

Some creative ones mix and match their argyle cashmere sweaters with trendy accessories, and pick good belts and sashes to go along with it. These accessories will come in handy if you are using sweaters you raided from your grandmother’s closet. Loose sweaters with the right accessories will still look hip. When you can, however, you may want to buy the newer designs that have been specially cut to give that cool and sexy look.

With some fashion sense, you can make any old sweater look classy and comfy. But with the newer issues coming from hip brands, you will look simply gorgeous. They must be great: fashion gurus say that the cashmere sweater is a necessary part of the complete modern wardrobe. You should make sure it is an argyle cashmere sweater you have in your closet.
